Bruce Parkman is the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Light, the largest provider of support and services to the i2 Analyst Notebook portfolio market. Blue Light’s mission is to ensure that almost 500,000 Analyst’s Notebook user’s analytical requirements are met with the most up to date training, technical support, software development and solution-based services. He is also the founder, CEO, investor or advisor to 5 other companies.
Mr. Parkman entered the Army in 1980 and spent 21 years in the service, including 18 years as a Green Beret serving in a variety of assignments in 7th and 10th Special Forces Groups and with the U.S. Army Special Warfare Center and School before retiring as a Sergeant Major.
After retirement and post 9-11, he deployed overseas as a technician in support of the Afghanistan invasion and use that experience to start a defense contracting company called NEK that became one of the largest providers of technical, intelligence and cyber training to the Special Operations Community.
In 2014, Mr. Parkman started Blue Light to leverage their extensive global experience with i2 Analyst Notebook to meet the ever-growing needs of the i2 Analyst community. The company, conceived as a i2 Analyst Notebook training company, expanded into Analyst Notebook technical support, software engineering and implementation services by 2017 supporting i2 end-user requirements on every continent, and became the only North American i2 Preferred Service Provider. The company is known for industry leading solutions with i2 to combat today’s evolving threats, technologies and challenges like IEDs, Sensitive Site Exploitation, and Sexual Trafficking.
Mr. Parkman graduated from Methodist College with honors (Summa Cum Laude) receiving a B.S. in Business Administration and a M.A. in Security Administration from Webster University. He is also a founding Director of the Green Beret Foundation, Chairman of the Board for the Global Special Operations Forces Foundation and the founder of the Small and Mid-Sized Business Information Sharing Organization, is on the Board of Your Grateful Nation and provides counseling to veterans interested in Entrepreneurship and plays the bagpipes.
